Morning email signup
If you sign up for The Level Report morning email, we store: your email address; the time you signed up; the exact consent wording you agreed to and its version; your status (pending, confirmed or unsubscribed) and when it changed; random confirm and unsubscribe tokens; and a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to limit repeated signup attempts.
Why: to send you the morning email you asked for, to prove you consented, and to honor unsubscribes. Nothing is sent until you confirm your address from the confirmation email (double opt-in). As of now, sending has not been switched on.
The data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database operated for this site. We do not sell or share it, do not use third-party trackers or advertising pixels, and do not run audience analytics on this site. When a sending provider is connected it will process your address only to deliver the email.
You can unsubscribe anytime with the link in every email. To ask for your record to be deleted, use the unsubscribe link and reply to any email we send; unsubscribed addresses are kept only as a suppression record so we never email them again.
Everything else
This prototype does not run a tip inbox, offers no accounts, and sets no passwords. Edition choice is a link, not a profile.
